Annual permit duties, payable to the Régie when the permit is issued
Hearing before the Régie's tribunal in the case of an objection (separate product: RACJ hearing preparation)

What might be added

If a third party objects or the Régie's tribunal summons you: hearing preparation (CA$1,999).
Additional permits (patio, additional room): CA$499 per permit filed at the same time.

The permit application requires, among other things, a municipal certificate and an approved floor plan of the premises; the Régie publishes a notice and may hold an investigation; any interested person may object within 30 days of the notice.

Frequently asked questions

Why 90 to 105 days?+

The Régie publishes a 30-day public notice, a police investigation of about 40 days is added, and then the file is analyzed. An incomplete file restarts a 45-day period with each correction: that is precisely what this service avoids.

Can I open before the permit is issued?+

Not for alcohol. You can operate the restaurant without serving alcohol in the meantime, if your other permits allow it.
