Frequently asked questions

Why without a lawyer present?+

The Act respecting the Barreau du Québec allows a company's officer to represent it before a quasi-judicial body, except to plead. A file prepared by a lawyer and presented by the officer costs a fraction of full representation. The lawyer's attendance remains available as an option.
